Customer Service Representative - Distribution

About the role

The Customer Service Representative – Distribution will be the primary point of contact for business customers in our San Juan office. You will handle walk‑in customers, inbound calls, emails and order inquiries, ensuring a smooth order experience from entry to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and enter orders from walk‑in customers and various channels (calls, email, EDI, fax).
• Process 50–100+ daily customer interactions with high accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve order issues, billing discrepancies and delivery concerns.
• Act as liaison between customers, sales, warehouse and billing teams to expedite orders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support additional customer service and administrative tasks as needed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of customer service, call‑center or account support experience.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Ability to work independently, manage high call volume and prioritize competing tasks.
• Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to cross‑train.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, CoPilot).
• Experience with AS400 or similar ERP/order‑management system.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and order entry processes.
