Customer Development Quality Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Development Quality Engineer to join our automotive quality team. The role supports project teams in defining and maintaining quality specifications, handling customer complaints, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in project teams to develop and implement FMEAs and define quality specifications for processes.
• Prepare and update control plans, work instructions, and related documentation.
• Conduct and support process audits, and drive corrective actions.
• Manage customer complaint handling and resolution.
• Maintain and continuously improve documentation such as control plans, P‑FMEA, R‑FMEA, and product confirmation lists.

Required profile

• Higher education in Engineering.
• At least 1 year of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in quality or continuous improvement.
• Fluent English and knowledge of German.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 standards.
• Proficiency with quality tools: APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA.
• Experience with core tools training and web‑based editing tools.
