Customer Care Representative I – Bilingual (US)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Customer Care Representative I to join Elevance Health’s call center team. The position operates in a hybrid model, requiring 1‑2 days per week in the office while allowing remote work to support productivity and work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to internal and external customer inquiries via phone and written correspondence regarding insurance benefits, provider contracts, eligibility, and claims.
• Analyze problems, provide information and solutions, and document outcomes in the database.
• Operate a PC/image station to retrieve and extract data, and maintain accurate records of all interactions.
• Develop and maintain positive customer relationships and coordinate with internal functions to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct outbound calls within the ZipDrug business area and follow‑up with routine telephone calls and emails.
• Use computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in an automated customer service environment.
• Ability to pass pre‑employment testing and complete basic training.
• Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, with problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Bilingual proficiency as indicated in the job title.
