Corporate Sales Assistant

About the role

The Corporate Sales Assistant supports the Global Markets sales team in delivering high‑quality service to corporate clients across the full trade lifecycle. Based in Portugal, the role acts as a key liaison between clients, sales, compliance and operational functions, ensuring onboarding, data maintenance and post‑trade activities are executed efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage onboarding and recertification requests, raise and track workflow tool tickets, and prepare KYC documentation for Global Markets.
• Maintain client static data in the relationship management system and perform ad‑hoc reconciliations.
• Execute post‑trade processes, including addressing booking queries, sending fixing advices, confirming trades, handling margin calls and managing client claims.
• Act as intermediary between marketers and operational areas, escalating issues as needed.
• Perform daily controls to mitigate operational risk.

Required profile

• Interest in financial markets with an academic background in Mathematics, Finance, Economics or related fields.
• Fluent English with strong analytical and organized work approach.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team, delivering precise results under pressure.

Required skills

• Knowledge of KYC procedures and client onboarding processes.
• Familiarity with static data management and post‑trade settlement concepts.
