Contract Lawyer – Flexible Project‑Based Role

About the role

Moritz is seeking experienced contract lawyers to join its curated network of independent attorneys. This fully remote, project‑based position allows you to work with leading technology companies on a flexible schedule, delivering high‑quality commercial legal work without the constraints of a traditional law firm.

Key responsibilities

• Review, draft, and redline a variety of commercial agreements, including SaaS contracts, vendor and supplier agreements, NDAs, and data‑processing agreements.
• Advise clients on contract terms, risk exposure, and negotiation strategies.
• Provide precise, high‑quality legal output with efficient turnaround times.

Required profile

• Licensed advogado/advogada in Portugal, in good standing with the Ordem dos Advogados.
• 5+ years of experience focused on commercial contracts.
• Background at a top‑tier law firm or as in‑house counsel for a technology company.
• Strong expertise in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
• Active professional liability (malpractice) insurance.
