Commercial Purchasing Internship

About the role

Join Bosch's Home Comfort division in Aveiro as an Extracurricular Commercial Purchasing Intern. You will support the procurement team in supplier selection, cost analysis and negotiation, gaining hands‑on experience in a global industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage supplier selection processes, including Requests for Quotation (RfQ) and comparison of quotations (CoQ) based on total cost of ownership.
• Assist buyers during supplier negotiations and support contract discussions.
• Review supplier capacity planning and align it with business volume forecasts.
• Monitor material cost developments by material group to ensure target achievement.

Required profile

• Academic degree in Business Management, Economics or a related field.
• Strong social and communication abilities.
• Analytical mindset with a structured way of working.
• Fluent in English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Basic knowledge of SAP (preferred).
