Commercial Legal Counsel (m/f/d)

About the role

Siemens Healthineers is looking for a Commercial Legal Counsel to support its global sales and service operations. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risk across software, hardware, and service offerings.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret evolving legal regulations, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including sales contracts, leasing agreements, collaboration agreements, business associate agreements, confidentiality agreements, and RFP responses.
• Prepare and maintain terms and conditions, terms of use, FAQs, and related documentation for products and services.
• Review promotional and marketing materials for legal compliance.
• Standardize contract templates, processes, and tools to enable scalable delivery.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to assess contractual terms, regulatory risks, and business implications.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of commercial law experience in a law firm or in‑house setting.
• At least 3 years of experience negotiating contracts with customers or vendors in the United States.
• Strong planning, organization, and strategic thinking abilities.
• Proactive, collaborative, and business‑focused problem‑solving approach.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken, written, read) and willing to work 13:00‑21:00 Portugal time.
