Cloud Engineer (Hybrid, Lisbon)

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to work on a technology project for Komodo Consulting. The role involves designing and implementing complex cloud infrastructure solutions, building CI/CD pipelines, managing containerized environments, and ensuring high availability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement complex cloud infrastructure solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows using Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
• Manage and optimize containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions with Terraform.
• Set up and manage monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
• Design and implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions.
• Collaborate with developers and multidisciplinary teams, communicating technical information clearly.
• Embed a security‑first approach across all infrastructure design and DevOps processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Engineering, or related field (Master's a plus).
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar cloud engineering role.
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex infrastructure solutions.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Solid experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.
• Fluency in English; Portuguese language skills are a plus.
