Client Accounting Specialist (TLS)

About the role

The Client Accounting Specialist acts as the primary financial liaison for TLS prospective clients, handling end‑to‑end procurement accounting and client‑facing financial reporting. You will advise clients on budgets, monitor financial health, and ensure accurate accounting operations using TLS services.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main financial point of contact for assigned U.S.‑based clients, answering billing and documentation queries.
• Manage the full procurement cycle, including three‑way match, vendor payments, and AP transaction oversight.
• Lead quarterly financial review meetings with clients and internal procurement teams.
• Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements, reconcile subsidiary ledgers to the General Ledger, and support month‑end closing activities.
• Onboard and train new clients on TLS accounting timelines, processes, and procedures.
• Monitor compliance, flag non‑compliance issues, and communicate operational changes that affect revenue.
• Maintain organized financial records and develop client‑specific financial reports.

Required profile

• Experience in client‑facing accounting or finance roles, preferably with U.S. and Puerto Rico operations.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable, billing, and procurement processes.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in month‑end closing, financial statement preparation, and ledger reconciliations.
