Clearance Broker – Associate (French)

About the role

Join FedEx as a Clearance Broker Associate, working closely with customs authorities to ensure timely and compliant clearance of shipments. This position requires bilingual communication in English and French and focuses on accurate documentation and proactive client interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare customs entry documentation based on shipment paperwork.
• Verify that all customs documents are completed correctly.
• Contact clients via email to request missing or unclear information needed for clearance.
• Accurately input shipment information into the appropriate systems.
• Produce and validate customs data and paperwork to meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.
• Maintain high accuracy in a fast‑paced, goal‑oriented environment.

Required profile

• Fluent in English (B2‑C1) and French (B2‑C1).
• Available to work evenings.
• Team player with a can‑do attitude.
• Customer‑focused with excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Good time‑management, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Capable of making independent decisions based on expertise.
• Willing to develop in a multinational, multicultural environment.
