Claims Handler – French Speaker

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual Claims Handler who will manage vehicle damage claims for our customers in Lisbon. The role requires fluent communication in French and English, strong customer‑service focus and the ability to work with internal teams, insurance partners and authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, assess and process vehicle damage claims in line with SIXT guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal departments, insurance companies, legal entities and damage experts.
• Provide clear and courteous communication with clients in French and English throughout the claims process.
• Make informed decisions to ensure a smooth and efficient claims resolution.
• Handle a variety of claim cases, maintaining quality standards and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Previous experience in claims management or customer‑service case handling.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with good negotiation abilities.
• Ability to interact effectively with clients, insurers and legal entities.

Required skills

• Fluency in French (spoken and written).
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
