Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Finance Leader

About the role

The Finance Manager (CFO) will lead the Finance Department of a growing industrial materials distribution company in San Juan. This senior position partners with senior leadership to shape financial strategy, drive profitability, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with growth objectives.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, and financing requirements.
• Analyze financial and operational indicators to support decision‑making.
• Prepare and present financial reports to management and shareholders.
• Identify cost‑optimization and profitability improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with tax, regulatory, and audit requirements.
• Develop and strengthen internal controls and financial processes.
• Participate in strategic initiatives, expansions, investments, and special projects.
• Collaborate closely with leaders to drive sustainable financial results.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s highly desirable).
• 8–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience.
• Previous financial leadership roles, preferably in distribution or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, cash‑flow management, and internal controls.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems/tools.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, results‑oriented environment.
