Central Internal Auditor

About the role

Forvia Interiors is seeking a Central Internal Auditor to join its team in Santa Maria da Feira. The role focuses on delivering risk‑based audit assignments across the organisation, providing independent assurance on governance, risk management and internal controls.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the annual internal audit plan and execute financial, operational, compliance and process audits across entities and regions.
• Document processes, risks and controls; test design and operating effectiveness.
• Conduct interviews, walkthroughs, testing and data analysis to identify root causes and control weaknesses.
• Draft audit findings, recommendations and management action plans; monitor remediation progress.
• Support internal control reviews and ICFR/SOX‑type testing where applicable.
• Participate in investigations or special reviews as requested.
• Utilise audit tools and data‑analytics techniques to improve audit quality and efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, internal control, risk management or finance within an international environment.
• Master’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business, Audit or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work independently with integrity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; ability to thrive in multicultural settings.
