CAD Designer – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role

Renvolt, the O&M and EPC subsidiary of Voltalia, is seeking a CAD Designer to support its engineering team in the design and documentation of photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage system (BESS) projects. The role is based in Porto and focuses on creating accurate technical drawings throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Produce implementation, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and installation detail drawings for PV and BESS projects using AutoCAD and PVCase.
• Prepare technical drawings for sales, construction and as‑built phases based on supplied data.
• Optimize design solutions from technical and economic perspectives in collaboration with Project Engineers.
• Contribute to the development of tools and methods that improve the team’s workflow.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional experience with AutoCAD.
• Technical education in design, renewable energies or a related field.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.
• Experience in the photovoltaic or broader renewables sector is preferred.
