C# .NET Backend Developer – Remote (Portugal)

About the role

Ryanair Labs is looking for a C# .NET Backend Developer to help build Europe’s leading travel experience. You will work closely with product and technology teams to design, develop and maintain high‑performance enterprise applications and payment platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality, testable, and performant software using unit, integration and automated testing.
• Write end‑to‑end web‑based solutions, prototypes and high‑volume production applications.
• Release software following DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery.
• Maintain and extend the online payment platform, integrating new payment methods.
• Collaborate in an Agile, fast‑paced environment and stay up‑to‑date with emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Solid experience in .NET web application development (Framework 4.x and .NET Core).
• Proven track record delivering cloud micro‑services, preferably on AWS (ECS, EKS, SNS, SQS, Lambda).
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL database design and usage.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with software release management, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
