Buyer – Procurement for Crop Protection

About the role

We are looking for a Buyer to manage the procurement of raw materials, finished products, subsidiary raw materials, and packaging for the Rovensa Group companies. The role ensures that all purchases meet product requirements, regulatory standards, and delivery timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Execute purchases of raw materials, finished products, subsidiary raw materials, and packaging.
• Handle acquisitions of finished products/active materials from outside the EU, managing documentation, customs, and banking procedures.
• Keep packaging and subsidiary raw material specifications up to date.
• Monitor compliance with agreed delivery deadlines and arrange transport and insurance when needed.
• Ensure customs clearance for goods imported from non‑EU countries.
• Request safety data sheets for chemical products and verify special labeling requirements.
• Verify REACH registration compliance for chemicals and subsidiary raw materials.
• Gather necessary documentation for REACH assessment and act as liaison between suppliers and the DAS when required.

Required profile

• 12th grade education or equivalent professional experience in procurement.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Knowledge of Spanish and French is preferred.
