About the role
KCS IT is seeking an ambitious Business Manager to lead client relationships and drive commercial growth. Based in Lisbon, you will work closely with internal teams and customers to deliver high‑quality IT consulting services.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and ensure their satisfaction.
- Anticipate client needs, propose innovative solutions and align projects with emerging IT trends such as cloud, data and AI.
- Coordinate with HR, sales and delivery teams to allocate the right consultants to each project.
- Monitor project execution, resolve issues, mitigate risks and guarantee deadlines and quality standards.
- Identify new business opportunities, manage existing accounts and drive upselling or cross‑selling initiatives.
- Develop commercial strategies, contribute to proposals, negotiate terms and close contracts.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, IT, Human Resources, Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar commercial or client‑facing role.
- Strong commercial mindset, results orientation and solid understanding of business challenges.
- Excellent communication, autonomy, proactivity and a strong sense of responsibility.
- People‑oriented leadership style, decisive and comfortable taking calculated risks.
- Fluent in English and Portuguese; French is a plus.
