Business Development Representative – French

About the role

Zendesk is looking for a French‑speaking Business Development Representative to join its fast‑growing EMEA sales team. You will be part of the Sales Development function, responsible for generating new business opportunities and helping shape the sales strategy for your region.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new business by managing a busy outbound pipeline of leads.
• Prospect both cold accounts and new groups within existing Zendesk customers using innovative outreach methods.
• Generate high‑value pipeline through strategic targeting of start‑ups, unicorns and enterprise organisations.
• Source leads actively via social tools and maintain a strong focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Consistently over‑achieve on targets and metrics while representing the Zendesk brand.

Required profile

• Native French speaker with fluent written and spoken English.
• At least 6 months of experience in a sales‑related environment.
• Passion for consultative selling and a customer‑centric mindset.
• Strong “can‑do” attitude, self‑starter, and a drive to exceed goals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
• Availability to work from the Lisbon office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
