Business Development Manager – Restaurant Sales (Porto)

About the role

UMAI is looking for a results‑driven Business Development Manager to expand its restaurant client base in Porto. You will work remotely from Porto, meeting restaurant owners and managers in‑person to showcase UMAI’s automation and revenue‑boosting platform.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads and acquire new restaurant brands across Porto.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners and management through professional, in‑person meetings.
• Provide excellent customer service and set realistic partnership expectations.
• Stay informed about new restaurant openings and attend key industry events to network.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of sales experience, preferably in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passionate about sales, human interaction, and hitting the streets or phone to secure meetings.
• Goal‑oriented with strong organisational skills and a solid work ethic.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest or experience in project management or startups.
• Strong interest in the food‑and‑beverage or startup sectors.
