Business Analyst – Tax Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong tax expertise to join our finance team in Portugal. The role combines functional analysis, tax knowledge, and close collaboration with IT developers to deliver high‑quality solutions for our financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Formalise business requirements and manage the change‑request cycle.
• Apply best‑practice business analysis techniques while leveraging deep tax knowledge.
• Conduct pre‑analysis with business stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and clarify needs.
• Validate functional requirements with the business and provide guidance to IT developers.
• Support functional testing and assist users during user‑acceptance testing.
• Follow project and release phases, respecting workflows, planning, deadlines and reporting.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Management, Tax or Law.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the financial industry with a focus on tax activities.
• Proven experience with Agile methodologies.
• Experience working with relational databases, preferably SQL.
• Strong overall IT knowledge; familiarity with custody systems is a plus.
