Billing Agent - German Speaker

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Billing Agent who is fluent in German to join our Porto office. The role is centred on managing client documentation for billing, ensuring the accuracy of invoices, and supporting the commercial team. You will also play an active part in our digital transformation journey by contributing to process automation and data‑driven improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage client documentation for billing purposes and resolve billing issues.
• Ensure monthly billing targets are met consistently.
• Verify and validate that all invoices are generated according to received instructions and meet monthly processing objectives.
• Enter and validate data accurately in the billing system.
• Organise documents for delivery to patients and clients, supporting the commercial team by handling inquiries and gathering necessary data.
• Contact patients to remind them of prescription validity periods and renewal deadlines.
• Prepare, analyse, and validate reports requested by clients.
• Monitor and follow up on prescription renewals to ensure compliance and proper closure at the end of each treatment.
• Participate in digitalisation and task‑automation initiatives, contributing to the company’s evolution toward digital transformation.

Required profile

• Fluent in German and proficient in English or Portuguese.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• At least two years of experience in back‑office or billing roles.
• Critical thinker with a dynamic mindset and a continuous‑improvement approach.
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities.
• Passion for problem‑solving and data‑driven decision making.
