BI Systems Team Leader

About the role

The BI Systems Team Leader will head the BI Systems Team within Airbus GBS Tech Hub, supporting the Finance Transformation organization. The role combines technical ownership of the Integrated Finance Reporting & Planning (IFRP) platform with people management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage support and evolution of the IFRP platform (SAP BW on HANA) and related SAP Analytics Cloud reporting solutions.
• Collect, prioritize and resolve tickets via ServiceNow, coordinating with Airbus experts and development teams.
• Identify and fix interface issues between SAP and non‑SAP systems such as IBM Planning Analytics, Planisware and Workday.
• Design, test and deliver changes to meet end‑user requests and ensure high‑quality deliverables.
• Lead the team by overseeing performance, compensation, development, workload balance and compliance with GBS and HR policies.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and knowledge sharing within the team.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field (preferred).
• More than 5 years of relevant professional experience in finance‑focused BI environments.
• Strong understanding of finance processes such as operational planning, monthly and corporate reporting.
• Excellent communication, analytical and decision‑making skills, with a collaborative and solution‑oriented attitude.
• Leadership experience to motivate, coach and develop a multicultural team.
• Negotiation level proficiency in English.
