Bellperson

About the role

The Bellperson provides attentive, courteous, and efficient assistance to hotel guests with their luggage and other on‑site needs. This position supports guests from arrival through departure, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience throughout their stay.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload luggage carts, organize and deliver luggage for tour groups.
• Escort guests to rooms, explain room features and operation of electronic devices.
• Check and store luggage with tags for arrivals and departures.
• Deliver packages, flowers, laundry, messages, and other amenities to guestrooms.
• Assist with room changes, maintain local attraction guides, and update lobby information boards.
• Support front‑desk agents when needed and show guestrooms and suites.
• Perform additional duties as requested by management.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hotel or related experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for the applicable state.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lb occasionally, 50 lb frequently, and 20 lb constantly.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Maintain confidentiality and respond to guest and employee concerns.
