Beauty and Wellness Consultant

About the role

The Beauty and Wellness Consultant delivers an exceptional, personalized customer experience in a retail environment. You will inspire clients with beauty knowledge, provide mini‑makeovers and skincare consultations, and promote the store’s brand and product range.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers, identify their needs, and recommend appropriate beauty and wellness products.
• Conduct product demonstrations and consultations using tools such as the Skin Hydrometer and tablet.
• Lead in‑store events to increase brand awareness and customer loyalty.
• Achieve or exceed sales targets through link‑selling, up‑selling, and effective use of testers and samples.
• Maintain a clean, organized department and ensure hygiene standards for product testers.
• Process transactions at the cash register and handle employee purchases.
• Support omni‑channel solutions, locate products in other stores or online, and comply with regulated‑product laws.
• Participate in meetings on promotions, new items, and sales goals.

Required profile

• Ability to build authentic relationships and provide personalized advice.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced retail setting and meeting sales objectives.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Skin Hydrometer for skin analysis.
• Use of tablets for product consultations and data entry.
• Operation of cash register and familiarity with store point‑of‑sale systems.
• Knowledge of store inventory and product location tools.
• Understanding of hygiene standards for product testers.
