Beauty Advisor – Retail Beauty Specialist

About the role

As a Beauty Advisor at Sally Beauty you will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking guidance on hair, cosmetics, skin care and nail products. You will create memorable shopping experiences, build lasting relationships and inspire loyalty through personalized recommendations and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complementary beauty products.
• Inform customers about current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise for sales and promotional events.
• Enroll customers in the Sally Beauty Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate Sally Beauty culture values in daily interactions.

Required profile

• Ability to lift up to 25 lb, occasionally while on a ladder.
• Physical stamina for long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stooping, stretching and reaching.
• Willingness to work around moving carts, machines and occasional exposure to irritant chemicals.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
