Backend Software Engineer (Node.js/AWS)

About the role

You will join a product development team focused on business‑growth features such as pricing strategy, trial experience, payment flow and customer onboarding. Working closely with product managers, designers, engineering managers and front‑end engineers, you will help shape short‑term and long‑term value delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Innovate and design backend solutions that improve trial, payment and onboarding experiences.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and quality teams, sharing ownership of the product’s success.
• Pair program, mentor peers and contribute to cross‑team initiatives that boost team happiness and efficiency.

Required profile

• 4+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years building backend applications used by a sizable user base.
• 2+ years in a product‑focused environment.
• Strong collaboration skills and fluency in English.

Required skills

• Node.js and TypeScript.
• AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, Aurora, Redis, S3, MemoryDB).
• Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• GitLab CI/CD and SonarQube.
• Datadog for monitoring and ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• React and TypeScript for internal tooling.
