Back End Developer (PHP & Java)

About the role

Closer Consulting is seeking a Back End Developer to join its innovative data‑science team. You will work on high‑impact projects across diverse industries, building robust server‑side solutions using PHP 8 and Java.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using PHP 8 and Java.
• Implement and consume HTTP, SOAP, and REST APIs with JSON payloads.
• Apply microservices architecture principles to create scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional, international teams to deliver business‑critical features.
• Ensure code quality by following SOLID principles and OOP best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of professional experience with PHP (PHP 8 mandatory).
• At least 2 years of experience developing in Java.
• Strong understanding of Object‑Oriented Programming.
• Proficiency with HTTP, SOAP, REST, JSON, and web services.
• Experience with microservices architecture and SOLID design principles.
• Team player with a problem‑solving mindset and English level B2 or higher.
