Azure Data Engineering Associate Manager

About the role

Accenture is hiring an Azure Data Engineering Associate Manager in Lisbon. As an Azure Data Engineer, you will support projects that collect, aggregate, store, reconcile and make data accessible from disparate sources so that analysis and decision-making can happen. You will also help ensure stakeholders can access and manipulate data for routine and ad hoc analysis, supporting the full data lifecycle from ingestion through analytics to action. The role sits within the Data Engineering team of Avanade's Business Intelligence practice.

Key responsibilities

• Implement technical solutions.
• Support the data supply chain so stakeholders can access and manipulate data for routine and ad hoc analysis.
• Work with clients to improve data visualizations using Power BI.

Required profile

• 5 or more years of prior related work experience.
• Existing experience in Data Engineering, ideally with large volumes of data (working with T-SQL).
• Tech lead experience or knowledge.
• Analytical, curious, agile, team player, confident communicator, problem solver, patient, quality-driven, self-motivated and innovative.

Required skills

• Data warehouse concepts and T-SQL relational and non-relational databases.
• Latest Azure technologies such as Databricks, Synapse, Data Fabric, Azure Data Lake Storage (Gen 2) and Cosmos DB.
• Software engineering tools and concepts, with coding experience in Python, Scala or PySpark.
• Nice to have: knowledge of Power BI solutions.
