About the role
Vex Tech is seeking an AWS DevOps Engineer to join its Lisbon team. Vex Tech provides specialized IT services, near‑shore solutions and turn‑key projects, delivering agile, high‑quality solutions that drive business growth and innovation. The role focuses on building and maintaining cloud‑native solutions on Amazon Web Services, supporting the company’s near‑shore and turn‑key projects while improving performance quickly and sustainably.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain infrastructure on AWS using services such as EC2, S3, RDS and Lambda.
- Apply Infrastructure as Code principles with Terraform to automate provisioning and configuration.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable and secure cloud environments.
Required profile
- Based in Lisbon, Portugal.
- Fluent English (mandatory).
- Motivated by growth and enjoys tackling technical challenges.
Required skills
- Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
- Strong proficiency with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
- Experience with cloud‑native architectures.
