Associate SEO & AEO Manager (Hybrid – Lisbon)

About the role

Iterable is seeking an Associate SEO & AEO Manager to lead the company’s visibility across traditional search and emerging AI‑driven discovery platforms. Based in Lisbon with a hybrid work model, you will shape the strategy and execution for technical SEO, Answer Engine Optimization, and Generative Engine Optimization, ensuring the brand appears clearly and competitively wherever buyers research.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical SEO health and performance of Iterable’s web properties.
• Develop and execute a technical SEO roadmap, addressing crawlability, indexation, site architecture, and page‑speed issues.
• Conduct regular audits covering internal linking, structured data, rendering, canonicalization, redirects, XML sitemaps, and Core Web Vitals.
• Implement Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) tactics to improve visibility in AI assistants and generative search tools.
• Collaborate with product, content, and engineering teams to build durable systems that continuously improve discoverability and measurement.
