Associate Director – Health & Benefits

About the role

As an Associate Director – Health & Benefits you will lead the design and management of group medical, dental, wellbeing, disability and time‑off plans for our clients. You will act as the primary point of contact on projects, working with industry experts to deliver cutting‑edge solutions and positioning yourself for future senior leadership roles.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and ongoing management of comprehensive health and welfare plans.
• Serve as lead project manager, creating project plans, managing budgets, timelines and deliverables.
• Advise clients proactively and ensure superior client service.
• Drive vendor procurement, negotiation, implementation and optimization.
• Coordinate specialist resources in health management, disability, pharmacy, data analytics and compliance.
• Support new‑business generation through prospecting and relationship building.
• Lead client teams, assign roles, ensure accountability and mentor junior colleagues.
• Review client deliverables for alignment with objectives and WTW standards.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience designing and managing complex health and welfare plans in a consulting, brokerage, carrier or vendor environment.
• Proven ability to expand relationships with existing clients.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, creative and integrative abilities.
• Flexibility and problem‑solving mindset.
