Assistant Restaurant Manager – Porto

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team for the launch of the flagship restaurant at Hotel Infante Sagres in Porto. Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, you will help ensure a seamless opening and daily operations, delivering high‑quality food, beverage and service in a warm, elegant setting.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day restaurant operations, guaranteeing consistent quality and guest satisfaction.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve complaints promptly, reporting insights to the Restaurant Manager.
• Maintain venue cleanliness, health and safety standards, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Train, supervise and motivate the service team, promoting upselling and career development.
• Monitor key performance indicators, manage payroll, staff records and working hours.
• Conduct regular inventory checks, support ordering and purchasing processes, and prepare activity reports.
