Assembler – Vega Alta

About the role

ABB is looking for a motivated Assembler to join its production team in Vega Alta. You will work on the shop floor, ensuring that components are built to exact quality standards while supporting the company’s mission of delivering leaner, cleaner industrial solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble parts according to daily production schedules.
• Verify machinery operation and report any issues.
• Perform visual inspections and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Complete inspection reports and separate non‑conforming or scrap parts.
• Operate and rotate between assembly stations, using pneumatic guns, presses, and welding equipment as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical degree preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing assembly is a plus.
• Ability to follow ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and company safety and HR policies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Use of pneumatic guns.
• Operation of presses.
• Basic welding techniques.
• Visual inspection of parts.
