Armed Driver/Messenger

About the role

Loomis is seeking an Armed Driver/Messenger to join its network of armored transportation services. You will work with a team to ensure the safe collection and delivery of cash, coins, and valuable items for financial institutions and retail clients.

Key responsibilities

• Drive armored vehicles on designated routes serving client locations.
• Provide service to ATMs and Smart Safes, including cash replenishment and collection.
• Deliver client change orders and pick up deposits.
• Load and unload vehicle cargo, handling multiple coin bags and boxes.
• Count, record, and sign for all items transported.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• At least 21 years of age.
• Minimum three years of clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain US DOT and Puerto Rico Public Service Commission medical certification.
• Valid Puerto Rico firearms permit and driver’s license.
• Full‑time availability (40‑50 hours/week) with weekend work as required.
• Successful completion of Human Performance Evaluation (lifting and transfer tests).
