Application Support Technician

About the role

Decskill is seeking an Application Support Technician to join its growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of client applications, handling incidents, and supporting release processes. This role works closely with senior support engineers, developers, and cloud operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, triage, and resolve tickets (incidents, service requests, problems) while communicating status and work‑arounds to users.
• Contribute to health‑checks and alerting, detecting performance degradation using tools such as Dynatrace, New Relic, and Prometheus.
• Prepare pre‑production and production environments, support releases and changes, and coordinate rollouts.
• Participate in post‑incident reviews, document root‑cause analyses, and propose preventive actions.
• Build and maintain knowledge base articles, FAQs, and how‑to guides.
• Collaborate with senior Application Support, Development, Cloud Operations, and other specialist teams.
• Identify and propose tooling enhancements and metric‑driven process improvements.

Required profile

• Proficient experience in IT Application Support.
• Good level of English.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Resilient, team‑oriented, and client‑focused mindset.
