Application Engineer – Knowledge Services

About the role

You will join the Knowledge Services team to design, develop, and maintain applications that automate documentation pipelines. The role focuses on converting XML‑based content into multiple formats, auto‑generating documentation from R&D data sources, and improving publishing systems for customer documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop automation that transforms XML documentation into HTML, PDF and other output formats.
• Build systems that generate documentation from YANG models, JSON files and APIs.
• Create and support backend services and REST APIs that manage document conversion, validation and publishing.
• Collaborate with engineers, technical writers and product teams to enhance documentation tooling.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across documentation generation and publishing pipelines.
• Maintain Linux environments and CI/CD processes related to documentation automation.
