Android Software Engineer

About the role

TeamViewer is looking for an Android Software Engineer to join its Frontline solution team. You will help build robust, scalable Android applications that enable hands‑free workflows and remote assistance for industrial customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Android applications for enterprise and industrial clients.
• Architect clean, testable code using modern Android frameworks and best practices.
• Collaborate with backend, platform, UX and product teams to ensure seamless integration and reliable performance across devices.
• Participate in peer reviews, pair programming and cross‑platform design discussions.
• Own features from concept through release, ensuring reliability, performance and maintainability.
• Explore emerging technologies such as Kotlin Multiplatform, Compose Multiplatform, and AI/AR integrations.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of professional Android development experience or senior‑level expertise delivering high‑quality mobile applications at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and solid understanding of Android SDK.
