Android Developer – Mobile Apps (Portugal)

About the role

We are looking for an Android Developer to join a partner company based in Portugal. You will contribute to high‑performance mobile applications serving a large global user base, working across the full product lifecycle from design to deployment and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance Android applications using clean, efficient, well‑documented code.
• Support the complete mobile application lifecycle: planning, development, testing, deployment, maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend and QA teams to deliver high‑quality features.
• Write and execute unit and UI tests, debug and resolve issues to ensure stability and performance.
• Monitor app health with Crashlytics, ANR reports and performance metrics, addressing technical problems proactively.
• Implement analytics tracking, feature rollouts, configuration management and A/B testing initiatives.
• Maintain and improve legacy applications while introducing new features, technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, able to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Availability to overlap with GMT+2 to GMT+7 time zones.
