Android Developer (Mid/Senior)

About the role

KCS IT is seeking a motivated Android Developer at a mid to senior level to join its hybrid team. You will work on diverse client projects, creating high‑quality mobile applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Implement UI according to Android design principles and ensure a smooth user experience.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and connect apps to backend services.
• Utilize Android architecture components such as ViewModel, LiveData, and Room.
• Maintain code quality with Git version control and participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and QA in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Android development with both Java and Kotlin.
• Strong understanding of the Android SDK, UI design principles, and best practices.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with backend services.
• Familiarity with Android architecture components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room).
• Comfortable using Git for version control.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
