Agency Sales Manager

About the role

MetLife Portugal is looking for an Agency Sales Manager to lead its Direct Sales Force. The role involves recruiting, training and developing a team of exclusive sales consultants, acting as a coach to drive growth and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the sales strategy and provide management support to achieve company standards.
• Recruit, train, supervise and coach sales consultants.
• Identify and develop agents with leadership potential.
• Motivate the sales force to meet agency targets.
• Maintain monitoring processes for daily activity execution.
• Utilise approved AI tools to improve routine tasks such as drafting and summarising information.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience with proven success in managing, coaching and motivating face‑to‑face sales teams.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking and proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Portuguese and English.
• Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.

What we offer

• Annual salary between €30,000 and €35,000.
