Actuarial Analyst - UK

About the role

We are seeking a talented Actuarial Analyst to join our Actuarial Valuations team within the People and Investments business at Marsh. The role is based in Lisbon and works closely with UK consultants on pension and retirement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Support consultants and clients in all aspects of pension actuarial work, including data gathering, valuation preparation, and participant statements.
• Reconcile data and assets from previous valuations, prepare summaries, and check plan questions.
• Calculate and analyze special retirement projects and prepare regulatory documentation.
• Act as a key point of contact for technical and scheme‑specific queries from clients and third parties.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and to high standards, supporting project management and problem resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, statistics, economics, finance or a related field.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and organizational skills.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients.
