Accounts Receivable Team Leader

About the role

Essity is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Team Leader to guide a talented team serving the EMEA region. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely accounting services while fostering strong stakeholder relationships and a culture of excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team toward shared objectives, emphasizing collaborative success.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and standards, overseeing accurate ledger postings.
• Develop and apply performance metrics to monitor and improve team output.
• Validate the accuracy and integrity of accounting reports, managing claim resolutions and adjustments.
• Participate in the creation of new services, tools, and processes to boost efficiency.
• Identify and implement solutions, support audits, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize processes and communication.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership, coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience leading teams in a finance or accounting environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience using PowerBi for reporting and analytics.
• Knowledge of Micros systems.
