Accounting & Tax Account Manager (Lisbon)

About the role

TMF Group is seeking an Accounting & Tax Account Manager to join its Lisbon office. You will manage a portfolio of international clients, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, tax compliance and financial reporting while supporting Accounting Officers in their daily priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain full-cycle bookkeeping and prepare statutory and corporate reports.
• Ensure tax compliance with local regulations and support US GAAP/IFRS requirements when needed.
• Manage cash projections, cash flow analysis and cash management activities.
• Assist with audit processes and coordinate billing activities.
• Provide training and development for Accounting Officers and act as primary client contact.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Certified Accountant with approximately 4 years of experience in accounting or tax advisory firms.
• Strong communication skills in English and Portuguese.
• Excellent organization, multitasking ability and team‑player attitude.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of local GAAP and tax compliance.
• Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS (plus).
• Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
• Experience with local accounting ERP systems.
