Accounting Specialist

About the role

Kantar is seeking an Accounting Specialist to join its Finance function. You will support month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensure accurate financial reporting, and collaborate with internal and external partners to meet performance and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance, processing, and production of month‑ and year‑end close activities, including balance‑sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Support preparation and review of period‑close entries and general‑ledger account analysis.
• Prepare monthly financial statements using Kantar’s consolidation tool.
• Coordinate month‑end and quarter‑end reporting schedules.
• Maintain strong relationships with customer and third‑party delivery teams, handling escalations and performance issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an accountant, including year‑end account production and audit preparation.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt in a changing, flexible organization.
• Willingness to work across geographic time zones during peak periods such as period end.
