Accounting Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. The role will support invoicing, recurring billing, deposit processing, and record‑keeping for our music and Zoom Cloud subscription services. You will also assist with financial analysis and various administrative accounting tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and send client invoices, including recurring billing for subscription services.
• Request and track client purchase orders and upload invoices to client portals.
• Maintain and update client billing information and subscription status.
• Deposit payments remotely into the bank account and record transactions in QuickBooks.
• Verify employee timecards to ensure accurate entries in ADP.
• Assist with data entry, document filing, and maintaining financial records.
• Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes.
• Communicate with clients regarding billing inquiries or discrepancies.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• 1 to 2 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and customer‑service skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Experience with QuickBooks accounting software.
• Familiarity with ADP payroll system.
