Accountant – Full Cycle Accounting

About the role

This position reports to the Accounting Supervisor and is responsible for executing a range of accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and month‑end close activities. The role supports the preparation of financial statements and ensures compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and send invoices, record cash receipts, and manage customer aging reports.
• Enter and verify payable invoices, issue payments, and generate supplier aging reports.
• Process payroll, review time‑and‑attendance data, and file payroll tax returns.
• Prepare month‑end journal entries, general‑ledger reconciliations, and subsidiary account reconciliations.
• Compile recurring and ad‑hoc financial reports, analyzing account, vendor, and customer data.
• Maintain internal controls, ensure confidentiality of financial information, and adhere to GAAP, federal and state regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Candidate for CPA or CMA certification.
• Three years of accounting experience preferred.
• Fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team, with strong analytical abilities.
