Accountant for Fast‑Growing Smart Locker Scale‑up

About the role

Bloq.it is looking for a proactive Accountant to join its rapidly expanding team. You will support the financial health of the world’s leading smart locker solution, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, receivable and general ledger management.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports such as P&L statements, balance sheets and cash‑flow analyses.
• Support audits and maintain compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Assist in budget creation, financial forecasting and variance analysis.
• Develop and enforce internal control policies in line with local and international regulations.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase reporting efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth financial operations.

Required profile

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in an international environment.
• Fluent in English and Portuguese.
• Experience with ERP systems and ability to support their financial implementation.
• Strong communication skills and a solution‑oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of international tax regulations, IFRS and local GAAP.

Required skills

• Odoo ERP (or similar ERP systems)
• Advanced Excel proficiency
