Accountant – Financial Reporting & ERP Transition

About the role

Quanteam, a consulting firm specialized in Banking and Financial Services, is seeking an Accountant to support monthly accounting, group quarterly closing, and ERP migration activities. The role combines statutory reporting, consolidation, and data‑quality responsibilities within a fast‑moving, hybrid environment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in monthly accounting and quarterly group closing processes.
• Post closing entries such as cut‑off, deferred income, fixed assets, equity adjustments, and write‑offs.
• Perform account reconciliations, allocations, ageing analysis, and review of suspense and transit accounts.
• Prepare and review consolidated balance‑sheet documentation and perform data‑quality checks for the consolidation package.
• Draft statutory financial statements for subsidiaries and joint ventures, including notes and statutory adjustments from IFRS to local GAAP.
• Support statutory audit by providing required documentation.
• Contribute to ERP data cleansing, migration support, and post‑migration reconciliation.

Required profile

• Strong accounting knowledge with a solid understanding of statutory accounting requirements (IFRS and local GAAP).
• Critical thinking, strong analytical abilities, and capacity to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
• Proactive team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

• Gross annual salary between €20,000 and €37,500, based on experience.
