Account Manager – Service Sales

About the role

As a Service Sales Account Manager at Körber, you will drive revenue growth by nurturing existing client relationships and uncovering new business opportunities. You will focus on selling the company’s services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting sales targets in a fast‑moving, technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and challenges.
• Support customers in selecting logistics and automation solutions that enhance their business.
• Conduct regular follow‑ups, define action plans, and act as the main point of contact for service topics such as business reviews, performance, issue escalations, contract renewals and upgrades.
• Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets by presenting services, highlighting value propositions, and negotiating contracts and pricing.
• Collaborate with internal teams (service operations, engineering, purchasing, etc.) to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve client inquiries promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline; provide regular performance and forecast reports to management.

Required profile

• Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in service sales, account management, or business development within a B2B industrial ecosystem.
• Successful track record selling high‑complexity hardware, software, and services.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities, with solid English proficiency (verbal and written).
• Collaborative, dynamic, and challenge‑focused personality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Experience using CRM software.
• Familiarity with document‑management tools.
