Account Manager – Parts

About the role

Join Trane’s Commercial HVAC team as an Account Manager – Parts, driving building efficiency and sustainability through our supply‑service offerings. Based in San Juan, you will work on‑site full‑time, engaging directly with customers and suppliers to expand our parts business.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, research and contact new suppliers that can add value to the HVAC/R parts and supplies line.
• Identify, research and contact prospective customers of strategic importance for channel development.
• Respond to complex customer inquiries, organize site visits and introduce products to grow sales.
• Deliver high‑quality service by applying detailed product knowledge.
• Negotiate prices and delivery times within authorized limits to close sales.
• Develop and monitor long‑term sales plans for key accounts.
• Work directly in the store, attending customers in person, by phone and email.
• Conduct external visits and actively seek new sales opportunities.

Required profile

• Professional background in Business, Administration or Engineering.
• Diploma or Associate’s Degree in HVAC or Refrigeration (desirable).
• At least five years of sales experience with parts, spare parts or consumables in industrial sectors similar to HVAC.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
